Crazy place! Lots of interesting art though. Whoever did the snail with the skull must have been a gardener. I stayed in Circus Circus. Was the place with the nice trees inside Bellagio? And what music do they play the fountains to now? In January 2001 it was Andrea Bocelli singing Time to Say Goodbye. Death Valley next - enjoy!
Yes, the Japanese trees were in the Bellagio, but they were fake trees! They play lots of different music for the fountains. We have heard Viva Las Vegas, something about the USA I didn't know, classical music I recognised but don't know the name of and another one I have forgotten. We have seen them lots. Fremont street where the street art is we liked much better than the strip- it was the old centre of Vegas and the buildings are much more stylish, and the people are more crazy (and more naked).
